Gigulous came about after seeing a letter Bowie wrote where he said that professional critics "rarely reflect the opinions of the public". And as there was no single source for people to post comments about gigs they had been to, I set about building one. The result was Gigulous.
About Gigulous
As for the site here are some things you might want to know.
How do we determine what are the best gigs?
We have a 7 day rolling listing which takes all the scores for each gig and divides them by the number of reviews received. This way it doesn’t matter whether the band is big or small they all have a chance of getting top billing.
How is the best video of the week chosen?
Very simply it’s the video that gets the most number of likes in any 7 day period.
Can we add information about our band?
Yes. But not at the moment. We will be adding this function so bands can add content to ‘their’ page. Please contact us at hello@gigulous.com and we will inform you when this function has been added.
Can we add information about our venue?
Yes. But not at the moment. We will be adding this function so venues can add content to ‘their’ page. Please contact us at hello@gigulous.com and we will inform you when this function has been added.
How can we change a negative review?
You can’t. However, if the review breaches our T&Cs we will review it and remove if necessary. If you feel a review is in breach then please notify us at hello@gigulous.com.
What can we do about reviews that are defamatory?
Please notify us at hello@gigulous.com about any review that you feel is defamatory. We will review it and remove if necessary.
